Groupe DDM was asked to produce a Tourism and Recreation Master Plan with a view to forming a network encompassing the significant public spaces in the village core, including Parc des Trois-Bérets, the quay and the trails.
Following an urban planning charrette consultation, a design concept plan was produced for each significant public place, based on the goals of improving and reclaiming Saint-Jean-Port-Joli’s tourism and recreation spaces for public use.
The plan provided a detailed illustration of the planned interventions and served as a reference framework for production of the work plans and specifications. In addition, a visual 3D simulation of the proposed developments was produced for each site.
